Tis the season

I hope you are doing good.

What about me? Oh you’ll know now. This is going to be another one of my rants πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ™†β€β™€οΈ

I love love December! The city is so beautifully decked up and everywhere you look you can the lights and smile on people’s faces. All my friends are home. My favourite cousins are back home. And what better way to spend time?. It’s just so very joyous and the fact that I get a badly needed 10 day break helps. I have to come to realise the importance of vacations this year. And though all year we’ve spent at home it surely doesn’t feel like a vacation.

This time my ever loving University has just given us 4 days of vacation and to top that I have to go to the Uni on selected days and be there from 9 to 5:30pm for my practicals. Welp.

I feel ever since September/October I have been on the constant grind and I’m scared I’ll burn myself out. I have my peaceful moments when I’m cooking or spending time with my friends or the Mandala colouring, painting my nails and well obviously reading!

I need to touch the book while I’m reading. Take in that smell. Feel the pages and treat them so carefully that I’m afraid they’ll tear. Remember the page number because I often forget my bookmark and I definitely can’t fold the corners of the page. Then when I come back forget the said page number and spend a couple of minutes there. It just adds to my experience. And I love that saying “Everytime you re-read a book, it becomes thicker like leaving a part of you inside”, of course not in the Horcrux kind of way xD

So for me to officially move to e-books was a very big deal. But I had to. I was reading far too less for my liking. And yesterday I made the move and lol by this morning I had already finished one book xD

Here’s what I made to help myself feel what I feel every December.

It just feels so aesthetic for me

Oh and I painted my nails again! This time I bought a bunch of tools that include dotting tools, brushes and the nail stickers.. tape? I don’t know what you call them. But I know it’s amazingly easy to use for beginners!

It's pretty cute isn't it?

Anyways that’s all for now folks.

You’ll probably hear from me soon, complaining about some other thing πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Till then,

Dream ❀
