How can I not fall in love with one of the most simplest ways of being transported into another world?
Books, story books. I love them!! I absolutely love reading. I’m such a crazy person when it comes to reading, I’ll read a 600/700 page book in one sitting. I’m a fast reader and that helps too!
I don’t have a specific genre that I stick too but I mostly read Fiction and Mysteries. They catch my eye and keep me on my toes all throughout.
My all time favourite authors
Enid Blyton
Agatha Christie
Rick Riordan
John Grisham
John Green
But of course I have read many books and enjoyed them but these are just the authors that I’ve read a lot of books written by them.
The last book I thoroughly enjoyed that wasn’t by one of these authors was War Cross by Marie Lu. I loved it. It again falls under the fiction category but it’s great. I think it’s labelled science fiction but if that word scares you, don’t worry there’s not much science into it.
What was the last book you read and did you enjoy it?
I don’t have as much free time to read as I’d like, and I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis, so my last book reading goes a little while back. It was “13 Reasons why”. I knew what it was about, after all the advertisement there was about the series, but I didn’t think it would shake me as much as it did. A tricky book to recommend, because it is very good, but I don’t think it is for everyone.

Oh wow it’s been on my list for a long time now, I wanted to read before I watch the show but I haven’t gotten time to do both!

I read all the time, 3-4 books a week usually. I recently re-read The Secret History by Donna Tartt and enjoyed it almost as much as I did the first time I read it.

Oh goodness I LOVE reading! It’s definitely an escape! And I love reading other people’s favourite books. I’m not sure why but I kind of feel like a better connection to them after.

Ooo what exactly was it about? Is it like an autobiography?

It’s a story about some really nice, but really human oddballs that find each other and form a friendship that turns into something more like family.

I’m a voracious reader and go through phases of favourite genres. Right now, I’m into science fiction and paranormal, and am currently re-reading The Cruel Prince by Holly Black.
