Kate’s POV
I woke up to the Eerie gale of the wind in the morning. I was surprised to see a sudden change in the weather. Then I remembered we were on a ship and things like this are expected.
The day went on as gloomy as the weather. The weather forecast said that a storm was fast approaching but there was a possibility that it could get blown off. The crew tried their best to cheer us.
Leo was being very apprehensive. He couldn’t keep still. He was pacing on and about. It looked like the weather change had taken a toll on him.
I tried to reason with him, but he kept saying that I wouldn’t understand.
Tired of arguing with him and also being physically tired after last night’s gig, I ended up sleeping.
Late evening I woke up to hear the loud howling wind. It was raining cats and dogs. Leo wasn’t in the suite. I tried to venture out quickly but water from somewhere had seeped in to the alleys of our suites. Wading in the water which almost was knee deep, I finally reached the deck.
That’s when I realized how bad the sight was. The storm seemed inevitable. The sounds of the loud lashing rain, the thunder and the ear piercing howling of the wind was too much to bear. Our wing which was on the eastern side was affected all because one of them had forgotten to close the deck doors leading towards our side.
I was frantic. I couldn’t find Leo anywhere.
Where was he?
Nice change of POV. I’m quite worried for Leo now, and I’m sure Captain Billy is mixed up in this. Great stuff, look forward to the rest of the month 🙂

“…Eerie gale of the wind…” love it!
A storm on a ship would be terrifying, made only worse by a missing person. Where is Leo? Nice suspense, and my mind instantly wondered if he fell over board or went over in a more sinister way. Great post.

“Eerie” has to be one of the best e words in existence. Everything is built right into the word. Great choice!
