Diamonds

These diamonds around me

Sparkle with a wonderfully bright beam

Don’t you just look up to them and wonder

What keeps their light going?

Shining in and shining out, amidst the clouds of despair

Making you feel their presence.

Sometimes nagging you, sometimes comforting you

Baby these diamonds are my best friends

And they are mine to keep!

Today was my last day in school. It was weird to say good bye to a place you considered to be home.

Our school has one of the best views, surrounded amidst nature, an evergreen forest and a lake. Oh that beautiful scenery i’ll never see again.

The hardest part: letting go of your friends. Walking in the corridors knowing you will never have the same atmosphere to be in is dreadful. Oh and those fun loving loud bus rides. Knowing you’ll probably never sit in the canteen will all your friends eating lunch, getting bullied, laughing loud, being the loudest table makes you almost wanna go through the painful journey of studying all over again!

This journey has been tremendously exciting and I genuinely thank every single one for being a part of it.. be it the ups or the downs.. in the end you end up longing for more.
